Phalaenopsis Amabilis var. sabah 

'Amabilis' meaning loveable or worthy of love and Sabah from the region in Borneo to which it hails.

Phalaenopsis Amabilis Sabah is a lowlander naturally loving warm conditions. Most orchids are hybridised to promise the wedding white colour, however, this naturally occurring species is genetically topped-up with wonderful white petals with a lovely curved shaped bloom to match.

Phalaennopsis Orchids are warm epiphytic growing orchids well suited to accompany you in the home environment.

Care level

Moderate - Please note that species can be a little more fussy than hybrids. This is due to the greater diversity of genetic makeup hybrids can express. Species are more niche and narrowly catered toward their natural environment. Please consider this when growing species. Nevertheless, I am keeping these plants in a nice and well lit environment and they seem to be loving it. They have been displaying solid leaf colour and great growth.
